Wolverines Fall 38-21 Against Indiana - Game Recap

Michael Penix Jr. sliced and diced the Wolverines defense for 342 yards as Indiana handed Michigan a 38-21 defeat on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

Indiana was the ATS victor, as they covered the +4.5-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 54.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Michael Penix Jr. completed 30 of 50 pass attempts for 342 yards for the Hoosiers in the win.

Hassan Haskins rushed for 19 yards for Michigan, while Chris Evans added 5 yards. Joe Milton threw for 344 yards for the Wolverines, while receivers Ronnie Bell and Cornelius Johnson had 149 and 82 yards respectively.

Michigan lost the offensive yardage battle to Indiana 460-357 yards in Saturday's game. Indiana had more first downs as that total ended up 28-17.

Michigan lost the time of possession battle 38:50-21:10, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Indiana takes its act on the road to face Michigan State looking for another win. For Michigan, they head home to face Wisconsin.
