Clemson Defeats Charlotte 52-10 - Recap

Clemson cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 52-10 score against Charlotte in Week 4 action at Memorial Stadium-Clemson.

The Tigers were a -41.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 61.5.

Travis Etienne rushed for 61 yards, while Lyn-J Dixon added 58 yards in the win. Joseph Ngata and Tee Higgins added 62 and 58 receiving yards respectively.

Benny LeMay rushed for 81 yards for Charlotte, while Aaron McAllister added 36 yards. Chris Reynolds threw for 43 yards for the 49ers, while receivers Cameron Dollar and Ishod Finger had 15 and 14 yards respectively.

Charlotte lost the offensive yardage battle to Clemson 466-216 yards in Saturday's game. Clemson had more first downs as that total ended up 27-11.

The time of possession battle favored Charlotte as their offense was on the field for 34:27, longer than the 25:33 of their opponents.

Clemson looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against North Carolina. Charlotte will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Florida Atlantic.
