REDBLACKS Fall 41-37 Against British Columbia - Game Recap

The Lions got a 3-TD performance from Vernon Adams Jr. as British Columbia handed Ottawa a 41-37 defeat on Saturday at BC Place.

The Lions won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -10.0-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.

Vernon Adams Jr. completed 26 of 37 pass attempts for 325 yards and 3 TDs for the Lions in the win.

Devonte Williams rushed for 66 yards for Ottawa, while Dustin Crum added 46 yards. Dustin Crum threw for 233 yards for the REDBLACKS, while receivers Justin Hardy and Jaelon Acklin had 114 and 41 yards respectively.

Ottawa lost the offensive yardage battle to British Columbia 384-347 yards in Saturday's game. Ottawa had more first downs as that total ended up 29-25.

Ottawa led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 39:06-20:54 split in that important category.

Next game, British Columbia takes its act on the road to face Edmonton looking for another win. For Ottawa, they head home to face Saskatchewan.
