Roughriders Fall 36-27 Against Edmonton - Game Recap

Kevin Brown scampered through the Saskatchewan defense for 175 yards as Edmonton handed the Roughriders a 36-27 defeat on Friday at Mosaic Stadium.

Edmonton was the ATS victor, as they covered the +3.0-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 46.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Kevin Brown rushed for 175 yards, while Tre Ford added 70 yards in the win. Eugene Lewis and Kyran Moore added 84 and 59 receiving yards respectively.

Jamal Morrow rushed for 46 yards for Saskatchewan, while Kian Schaffer-Baker added 10 yards. Jake Dolegala threw for 213 yards for the Roughriders, while receivers Tevin Jones and Jamal Morrow had 72 and 65 yards respectively.

Saskatchewan was outgained by Edmonton 448-331 yards in Friday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 25-19 by the Elks.

Edmonton led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:55-26:05 split in that important category.

Edmonton looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Lions. The Roughriders will aim to get back on the winning track at Ottawa.
