Big Ten Tournament - Indiana Defeats Penn State 61-59 - Recap
Indiana grabbed a 61-59 win over Penn State on Thursday, behind a 18-point effort from Kel'el Ware at Target Center.
Indiana did not, however, defeat Penn State against the spread, which closed at -2.5 at most sportsbooks.
Malik Reneau had 12 points for Indiana and Mackenzie Mgbako chipped in with 11 points. Xavier Johnson had 5 assists for them, while Kel'el Ware was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 14 boards.
Penn State got 16 points from Puff Johnson in a losing cause and another 11 points from Zach Hicks. Ace Baldwin Jr. contributed 6 assists for them, while Qudus Wahab had 9 rebounds.

Indiana won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 39-35.
