Kansas State was scorched by Nijel Pack for 28 points as Miami defeated them 91-83 in NCAA action on Sunday.
Miami got 23 points from Norchad Omier and another 15 points from Wooga Poplar. Bensley Joseph contributed 7 assists, while Norchad Omier cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Kansas State got 28 points from Cam Carter in a losing cause and another 18 points from Arthur Kaluma. Tylor Perry contributed 5 assists for them, while Arthur Kaluma had 12 rebounds.
Miami was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Kansas State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-25.
Next game, Miami takes its act on the road to face Kentucky looking for another win. For Kansas State, they head home to face Central Arkansas.
