Recap - Lafayette Defeats Army 52-47
Lafayette grabbed a 52-47 win over Army on Wednesday, behind a 13-point effort from Mark Butler at Kirby Sports Center.
Lafayette got 11 points from Justin Vander Baan and another 7 points from Devin Hines. Mark Butler contributed 2 assists, while Justin Vander Baan cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Army got 12 points from Josh Scovens in a losing cause and another 11 points from TJ Small. Charlie Peterson contributed 2 assists for them, while Charlie Peterson had 10 rebounds.
Lafayette was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Army had a 30-26 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Lafayette looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Boston University. Army will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Holy Cross.
