The battle between Texas and West Virginia didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as West Virginia was handed a 94-58 defeat on Saturday at Moody Center.
Texas was the ATS victor, as they covered the -13.0-point spread as a favorite.
Texas got 27 points from Dylan Disu and another 19 points from Tyrese Hunter. Max Abmas contributed 9 assists, while Dillon Mitchell cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
West Virginia got 17 points from Jesse Edwards in a losing cause and another 11 points from Noah Farrakhan. Kerr Kriisa contributed 4 assists for them, while Jesse Edwards had 9 rebounds.
Texas was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Texas heads into a battle against Houston. West Virginia, meanwhile, will have their next action against TCU.
