Lafayette Defeats Army 64-56 - Recap
Lafayette got 15 points from Ryan Pettit en route to a 64-56 victory over Army on Saturday at Christl Arena.
Lafayette got 13 points from Devin Hines and another 13 points from Mark Butler. Mark Butler contributed 2 assists, while Justin Vander Baan cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Army got a 24-point performance from Josh Scovens, who was supported by 12 points from Abe Johnson. Charlie Peterson had 2 assists in a losing cause for Army, while Abe Johnson grabbed 10 rebounds.
Lafayette was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Lafayette won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 39-27.
Lafayette looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Holy Cross. Army will aim to get back on the winning track at Lehigh.
