Northeastern Huskies vs Hofstra Pride Wrap - Hofstra Wins 82-62
The battle between Hofstra and Northeastern didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Northeastern was handed a 82-62 defeat on Saturday at Mack Sports Complex.
Hofstra was the ATS victor, as they covered the -6.5-point spread as a favorite.
Hofstra got 24 points from Darlinstone Dubar and another 20 points from German Plotnikov. Jaquan Carlos contributed 19 assists, while Jaquan Carlos cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Northeastern got 13 points from Luka Sakota in a losing cause and another 12 points from Chris Doherty. Jared Turner contributed 5 assists for them, while Masai Troutman had 5 rebounds.
Hofstra was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Northeastern had a 24-23 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Hofstra looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Drexel. Northeastern will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Elon.
