Louisville Defeats Coppin State 61-41 - Recap
The battle between Louisville and Coppin State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Coppin State was handed a 61-41 defeat on Wednesday at KFC Yum! Center.
Mike James had 12 points for Louisville and Skyy Clark chipped in with 10 points. Brandon Huntley-Hatfield had 2 assists for them, while Tre White was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Coppin State got 13 points from Justin Winston in a losing cause and another 9 points from Khali Horton. Preist Ryan contributed 1 assists for them, while Justin Winston had 10 rebounds.
Louisville was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Louisville had a 41-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Louisville looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Texas. Coppin State will aim to get back on the winning track at Miami-Ohio.
