Florida A&M Falls 74-65 Against Southern - Game Recap
Florida A&M was burned for 33 points by Tai'Reon Joseph on Saturday as Southern picked up a 74-65 win at Al Lawson Center.
Southern got 14 points from Brandon Davis and another 9 points from JaRonn Wilkens. Tidjiane Dioumassi contributed 6 assists, while Brandon Davis cleaned the glass with 5 rebounds.
Florida A&M got 16 points from Hantz Louis-Jeune in a losing cause and another 14 points from Jalen Speer. Jalen Speer contributed 4 assists for them, while Hantz Louis-Jeune had 9 rebounds.
Southern was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Florida A&M had a 36-23 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Southern looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Bethune-Cookman. Florida A&M will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Grambling State.
