Recap - South Carolina Defeats Florida A&M 94-62
The battle between South Carolina and Florida A&M didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Florida A&M was handed a 94-62 defeat on Saturday at Colonial Life Arena.
Collin Murray-Boyles had 17 points for South Carolina and Myles Stute chipped in with 16 points. Meechie Johnson had 6 assists for them, while Stephen Clark was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
Florida A&M got 14 points from Ja'Derryus Eatmon in a losing cause and another 13 points from Keith Lamar. Jalen Speer contributed 4 assists for them, while Keith Lamar had 5 rebounds.
South Carolina was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
South Carolina won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 41-28.
Next game, South Carolina takes its act home to face Mississippi State looking for another win. For Florida A&M, they head on the road to face Bethune-Cookman.
