Recap - Tulane Defeats Furman 117-110

Furman was victimized for 25 points and 12 assists by Kevin Cross as Tulane defeated them 117-110 in NCAA action on Thursday.

Tulane won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -7.5-point spread.

Tulane got 25 points from Kevin Cross and another 21 points from Sion James. Kevin Cross contributed 12 assists, while Kevin Cross cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

Furman got 29 points from JP Pegues in a losing cause and another 23 points from PJay Smith Jr. JP Pegues contributed 6 assists for them, while Davis Molnar had 9 rebounds.

Tulane was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Furman won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-32.

Tulane heads into a battle against Southern. Furman, meanwhile, will have their next action against Presbyterian.
