Pfeiffer Falls 88-59 to Campbell - Recap
The battle between Campbell and Pfeiffer didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Pfeiffer was handed a 88-59 defeat on Tuesday at John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center.
Campbell got 13 points from Anthony Dell'Orso and another 13 points from Laurynas Vaistaras. Anthony Dell'Orso contributed 4 assists, while Alex Kotov cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Pfeiffer got 13 points from Alex Cunningham in a losing cause and another 12 points from Rashamel Butler. Rashamel Butler contributed 4 assists for them, while Doug Smith had 8 rebounds.
Campbell was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Campbell had a 36-34 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
