Bellarmine Falls 101-59 Against BYU - Game Recap
The battle between BYU and Bellarmine didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Bellarmine was handed a 101-59 defeat on Friday at Marriott Center.
Noah Waterman had 15 points for BYU and Spencer Johnson chipped in with 14 points. Spencer Johnson had 7 assists for them, while Spencer Johnson was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
Bellarmine got a 21-point performance from Garrett Tipton, who was supported by 11 points from Langdon Hatton. Peter Suder had 7 assists in a losing cause for Bellarmine, while Langdon Hatton grabbed 9 rebounds.
BYU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
BYU had a 39-15 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, BYU takes its act home to face Wyoming looking for another win. For Bellarmine, they head on the road to face High Point.
