Recap - BYU Defeats Houston Baptist 110-63
Houston Baptist was run off the court by BYU on Monday as they blasted them 110-63 at Marriott Center.
BYU got 20 points from Spencer Johnson and another 19 points from Trevin Knell. Spencer Johnson contributed 7 assists, while Fousseyni Traore cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Houston Baptist got 18 points from Marcus Greene in a losing cause and another 11 points from Jay Alvarez. Pierce Bazil contributed 4 assists for them, while Jay Alvarez had 6 rebounds.
BYU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
BYU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 56-23.
Next game, BYU takes its act home to face San Diego State looking for another win. For Houston Baptist, they head home to face Florida International.
