MUW Owls vs McNeese State Cowboys Wrap - McNeese State Wins 92-23
The battle between McNeese State and MUW didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as MUW was handed a 92-23 defeat on Tuesday at The Legacy Center.
DJ Richards Jr. had 15 points for McNeese State and Dionjahe Thomas chipped in with 12 points. Omar Cooper had 10 assists for them, while Nasir Mann was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
MUW got 5 points from Tarik Islamovic in a losing cause and another 4 points from Adin Johnson. Josh Dukes contributed 1 assists for them, while Dariun Doss had 14 rebounds.
McNeese State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
McNeese State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-33.
