Recap - Delaware State Defeats Lamar 84-81
Terry Anderson scored 18 points leading Delaware State to a 84-81 victory over Lamar at Joan Perry Brock Center on Sunday.
Delaware State got 13 points from BB Knight and another 13 points from Chris Pryor. Ja'Sean Jackson contributed 4 assists, while Adam Hamilton cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Lamar got 27 points from Martaz Robinson in a losing cause and another 19 points from Raymond Somerville. Jevin Muniz contributed 8 assists for them, while Martaz Robinson had 11 rebounds.
Delaware State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Lamar won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-30.
Next game, Delaware State takes its act on the road to face Chicago State looking for another win. For Lamar, they head on the road to face UTSA.
