Nicholls State Defeats Rust 85-65 - Recap
Rust was run off the court by Nicholls State on Sunday as they blasted them 85-65 at David R. Stopher Gym.
Nicholls State got 31 points from Caleb Huffman and another 16 points from Latrell Jones. Micah Thomas contributed 4 assists, while Manny Littles cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Rust got 21 points from Davonte Craven in a losing cause and another 10 points from Jonathan Bentley. Keshon Tabb contributed 7 assists for them, while Catthadious Moore had 7 rebounds.
Nicholls State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Nicholls State had a 44-23 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
