Recap - Tulsa Defeats Tulane 81-79

Tulsa grabbed a 81-79 win over Tulane on Saturday, behind a 23-point effort from Sam Griffin at Donald Reynolds Center.

Tulsa won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +9.0-point spread as underdogs.

Tim Dalger had 15 points for Tulsa and Brandon Betson chipped in with 13 points. Anthony Pritchard had 9 assists for them, while Tim Dalger was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.

Tulane got a 23-point performance from Jalen Cook, who was supported by 13 points from Sion James. Jalen Cook had 6 assists in a losing cause for Tulane, while Tylan Pope grabbed 9 rebounds.

Tulsa was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Tulane had a 42-39 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
