The battle between Wagner and Gwynedd-Mercy didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Gwynedd-Mercy was handed a 89-55 defeat on Thursday at Spiro Sports Center.
Wagner got 13 points from DeLonnie Hunt and another 12 points from Javier Ezquerra. Javier Ezquerra contributed 9 assists, while Javier Ezquerra cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Gwynedd-Mercy got a 17-point performance from Aziz Parker, who was supported by 9 points from JoHann Vinson. Aziz Parker had 3 assists in a losing cause for Gwynedd-Mercy, while D.J. Johnson grabbed 5 rebounds.
Wagner was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
