Quinnipiac got 15 points from Ike Nweke en route to a 75-71 victory over Holy Cross on Wednesday at Hart Recreation Center.
JJ Riggins had 13 points for Quinnipiac and Matt Balanc chipped in with 12 points. Luis Kortright had 5 assists for them, while Matt Balanc was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 6 boards.
Holy Cross got a 17-point performance from Gerrale Gates, who was supported by 15 points from Bo Montgomery. Bo Montgomery had 3 assists in a losing cause for Holy Cross, while Gerrale Gates grabbed 11 rebounds.
Holy Cross won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-30.
