Pennsylvania Defeats Columbia 74-65 - Recap

Columbia was scorched by Jordan Dingle for 25 points as Pennsylvania defeated them 74-65 in NCAA action on Friday.

Pennsylvania won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -14.5-point spread.

George Smith had 14 points for Pennsylvania and Max Martz chipped in with 9 points. Max Lorca-Lloyd had 3 assists for them, while Nick Spinoso was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

Columbia got 19 points from Zavian McLean in a losing cause and another 18 points from Avery Brown. Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa contributed 5 assists for them, while Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa had 7 rebounds.

Pennsylvania was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Pennsylvania won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 41-25.
