Notre Dame Falls 78-73 to Syracuse - Recap
Syracuse grabbed a 78-73 win over Notre Dame on Saturday, behind a 17-point effort from Chris Bell at JMA Wireless Dome.
The match was decisive in favor of Syracuse, but bettors saw the game push as the margin of victory was the same as the closing point spread.
Syracuse got 15 points from Maliq Brown and another 14 points from Judah Mintz. Judah Mintz contributed 8 assists, while Jesse Edwards cleaned the glass with 15 rebounds.
Notre Dame got a 18-point performance from Marcus Hammond, who was supported by 15 points from Dane Goodwin. Dane Goodwin had 6 assists in a losing cause for Notre Dame, while Nate Laszewski grabbed 10 rebounds.
Syracuse trailed at halftime, 40-37.
Syracuse won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-25.
Syracuse looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Miami. Notre Dame will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Florida State.
