Belmont got 15 points from Ja'Kobi Gillespie en route to a 74-59 victory over Valparaiso on Tuesday at Athletics-Recreation Center.
Belmont was a favorite by -4.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Ben Sheppard had 13 points for Belmont and Even Brauns chipped in with 13 points. Ja'Kobi Gillespie had 6 assists for them, while Drew Friberg was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 6 boards.
Valparaiso got 17 points from Kobe King in a losing cause and another 15 points from Ben Krikke. Nick Edwards contributed 9 assists for them, while Ben Krikke had 8 rebounds.
Belmont led at halftime, 38-31.
Valparaiso had a 27-24 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
