Quinnipiac Downs Saint Peter's 58-51 - Match Report
Quinnipiac got 12 points from Paul Otieno as they ran past Saint Peter's 58-51 on Friday at M&T Bank Arena.
Quinnipiac did not, however, defeat Saint Peter's against the spread, which closed at -9.5 at most sportsbooks.
Matt Balanc had 10 points for Quinnipiac and Ike Nweke chipped in with 10 points. Dezi Jones had 6 assists for them, while Paul Otieno was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
Saint Peter's got 18 points from Jayden Saddler in a losing cause and another 10 points from Isiah Dasher. Latrell Reid contributed 4 assists for them, while Isiah Dasher had 5 rebounds.
Quinnipiac won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-27.
Quinnipiac looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Mount St. Mary's. Saint Peter's will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Fairfield.
