Utah Valley Defeats Western State 91-64 - Recap
Utah Valley blew out Western State on Wednesday, running up the score in a 91-64 win at UCCU Events Center.
Utah Valley got 14 points from Le'Tre Darthard and another 13 points from Trey Woodbury. Blaze Nield contributed 5 assists, while Aziz Bandaogo cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Western State got a 17-point performance from Avery Rembao, who was supported by 10 points from Kade Juelfs. Gino Corridori had 3 assists in a losing cause for Western State, while Gino Corridori grabbed 11 rebounds.
Utah Valley was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Utah Valley won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-29.
Next game, Utah Valley takes its act home to face Northern Arizona looking for another win. For Western State, they head on the road to face Weber State.
