Seattle Redhawks vs UTRGV Vaqueros Wrap - Seattle Wins 66-64
Seattle got 27 points from Cameron Tyson en route to a 66-64 victory over UTRGV on Thursday at UTRGV Fieldhouse.
Seattle did not, however, defeat UTRGV against the spread, which closed at -6.0 at most sportsbooks.
Alex Schumacher had 16 points for Seattle and Brandton Chatfield chipped in with 7 points. Emeka Udenyi had 6 assists for them, while Brandton Chatfield was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
UTRGV got 19 points from Justin Johnson in a losing cause and another 13 points from Dima Zdor. Will Johnston contributed 6 assists for them, while Daylen Williams had 15 rebounds.
Seattle was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UTRGV had a 46-41 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Seattle looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Texas-Arlington. UTRGV will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Utah Valley.
