Pacific grabbed a 74-65 win over Lamar on Tuesday, behind a 15-point effort from Luke Avdalovic at Montagne Center.
Pacific got 14 points from Keylan Boone and another 13 points from Nick Blake. Moe Odum contributed 8 assists, while Donovan Williams cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Lamar got a 23-point performance from Adam Hamilton, who was supported by 11 points from Nate Calmese. Nate Calmese had 3 assists in a losing cause for Lamar, while Yuto Yamanouchi-Williams grabbed 15 rebounds.
Pacific was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Lamar won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-36.
Pacific heads into a battle against BYU. Lamar, meanwhile, will have their next action against McNeese State.
