Recap - Kent State Defeats Bowling Green 79-69

Kent State got 19 points from Malique Jacobs as they ran past Bowling Green 79-69 on Saturday at Stroh Center.

Kent State did not, however, defeat Bowling Green against the spread, which closed at -10.5 at most sportsbooks.

Kent State got 18 points from Sincere Carry and another 14 points from Jalen Sullinger. Sincere Carry contributed 7 assists, while VonCameron Davis cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

Bowling Green got a 11-point performance from Samari Curtis, who was supported by 11 points from Chandler Turner. Samari Curtis had 3 assists in a losing cause for Bowling Green, while Brenton Mills grabbed 9 rebounds.

Kent State was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Kent State had a 37-35 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Kent State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Ohio. Bowling Green will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Eastern Michigan.
