Recap - UNLV Defeats High Point 78-68
EJ Harkless scored 15 points leading UNLV to a 78-68 victory over High Point at Thomas & Mack Center on Friday.
UNLV got 12 points from David Muoka and another 12 points from Luis Rodriguez. Keshon Gilbert contributed 8 assists, while Luis Rodriguez cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
High Point got 20 points from Abdoulaye Thiam in a losing cause and another 20 points from Zack Austin. Bryant Randleman contributed 8 assists for them, while Zack Austin had 8 rebounds.
UNLV was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UNLV had a 42-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
UNLV looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Southern Illinois. High Point will aim to get back on the winning track at Central Michigan.
