Brice Williams scored 25 points and added 13 rebounds for a double-double, leading Charlotte over Rice, 70-54, on Saturday at Dale F. Halton Arena.
Charlotte won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -6.5-point spread as favorites.
