Bobby Planutis scored 15 points leading PFW to a 85-68 victory over Texas A&M-Commerce at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Monday.
PFW got 14 points from Damian Chong Qui and another 14 points from Jarred Godfrey. Jarred Godfrey contributed 7 assists, while Ra Kpedi cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Texas A&M-Commerce got 18 points from C.J. Roberts in a losing cause and another 17 points from Demarcus Demonia. Kalen Williams contributed 3 assists for them, while Alonzo Dodd had 6 rebounds.
PFW was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
PFW won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 29-25.
Next game, PFW takes its act home to face Southern Indiana looking for another win. For Texas A&M-Commerce, they head home to face IUPUI.
