UTEP cruised to victory on Saturday, running Northern New Mexico out of the gym and running up a 87-50 score at Don Haskins Center.
UTEP got 14 points from Shamar Givance and another 11 points from Derick Hamilton. Shamar Givance contributed 5 assists, while Ze'Rik Onyema cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Northern New Mexico got 15 points from Conner Kelley in a losing cause and another 11 points from Joe Saterfield Jr.. Keane Harris contributed 3 assists for them, while Reyes Herrera had 6 rebounds.
