Towson Defeats North Carolina A&T 87-75 - Recap
North Carolina A&T was burned for 26 points by Nicolas Timberlake on Saturday as Towson picked up a 87-75 win at SECU Arena.
Towson won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -11.5-point spread as favorites.
Nygal Russell had 15 points for Towson and Charles Thompson chipped in with 15 points. Nicolas Timberlake had 5 assists for them, while Charles Thompson was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 17 boards.
North Carolina A&T got 18 points from Duncan Powell in a losing cause and another 17 points from Demetric Horton. Kam Woods contributed 4 assists for them, while Duncan Powell had 10 rebounds.
Towson was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Towson won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 51-33.
