UTEP Falls 91-70 Against DePaul - Game Recap
UTEP was run off the court by DePaul on Saturday as they blasted them 91-70 at Wintrust Arena.
DePaul won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -6.5-point spread as favorites.
DePaul got 23 points from Javan Johnson and another 22 points from Umoja Gibson. Jalen Terry contributed 4 assists, while Eral Penn cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
UTEP got a 16-point performance from Tae Hardy, who was supported by 12 points from Mario McKinney Jr.. Shamar Givance had 5 assists in a losing cause for UTEP, while Kevin Kalu grabbed 9 rebounds.
DePaul was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
DePaul had a 32-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
DePaul heads into a battle against Duquesne. UTEP, meanwhile, will have their next action against Louisiana Tech.
