Baylor Defeats Tarleton State 80-57 - Recap
The battle between Baylor and Tarleton State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Tarleton State was handed a 80-57 defeat on Tuesday at Ferrell Center.
Baylor was a -15.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Baylor got 22 points from Keyonte George and another 20 points from Langston Love. Keyonte George contributed 6 assists, while Jalen Bridges cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Tarleton State got 13 points from Shakur Daniel in a losing cause and another 11 points from Tiger Booker. Shakur Daniel contributed 3 assists for them, while Shakur Daniel had 8 rebounds.
Baylor was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Baylor won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-20.
Next game, Baylor takes its act home to face Washington State looking for another win. For Tarleton State, they head on the road to face Central Florida.
