North Alabama Falls 107-78 to Queens - Recap
The battle between Queens and North Alabama didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as North Alabama was handed a 107-78 defeat on Saturday at The Levine Center.
Queens got 18 points from Kenny Dye and another 15 points from BJ McLaurin. Kenny Dye contributed 7 assists, while Gavin Rains cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
North Alabama got a 17-point performance from KJ Johnson, who was supported by 16 points from Detalian Brown. Will Soucie had 4 assists in a losing cause for North Alabama, while Damian Forrest grabbed 7 rebounds.
Queens was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Queens won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-25.
Next game, Queens takes its act on the road to face North Florida looking for another win. For North Alabama, they head on the road to face Central Arkansas.
