North Alabama Falls 86-62 to Lipscomb - Recap
The battle between Lipscomb and North Alabama didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as North Alabama was handed a 86-62 defeat on Thursday at Allen Arena.
Lipscomb got 24 points from Jacob Ognacevic and another 13 points from AJ McGinnis. Ahsan Asadullah contributed 5 assists, while Ahsan Asadullah cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
North Alabama got a 13-point performance from Will Soucie, who was supported by 10 points from Jacari Lane. KJ Johnson had 4 assists in a losing cause for North Alabama, while Will Soucie grabbed 5 rebounds.
Lipscomb was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Lipscomb won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-20.
Next game, Lipscomb takes its act on the road to face Jacksonville looking for another win. For North Alabama, they head home to face Stetson.
