Southwestern Falls 101-54 Against Texas State - Game Recap
The battle between Texas State and Southwestern didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Southwestern was handed a 101-54 defeat on Sunday at Strahan Coliseum.
Texas State got 21 points from Isiah Small and another 20 points from Caleb Asberry. Mason Harrell contributed 7 assists, while Isiah Small cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Southwestern got 18 points from Preston Hannah in a losing cause and another 8 points from Jacob Hester. Kyle Poerschke contributed 2 assists for them, while Chris Smith Jr had 7 rebounds.
Texas State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Texas State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-27.
