Myrtle Beach Invitational - Recap - Davidson Defeats Pennsylvania 72-60
Davidson grabbed a 72-60 win over Pennsylvania on Friday, behind a 17-point effort from Sam Mennenga at HTC Center.
Davidson won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -8.0-point spread as favorites.
Davidson got 14 points from Luka Brajkovic and another 13 points from Michael Jones. Luka Brajkovic contributed 6 assists, while Luka Brajkovic cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Pennsylvania got 13 points from Jordan Dingle in a losing cause and another 10 points from Jelani Williams. Jordan Dingle contributed 3 assists for them, while Max Lorca-Lloyd had 8 rebounds.
Davidson led at halftime, 32-30.
Davidson looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Robert Morris. Pennsylvania will aim to get back on the winning track at Towson.
