UTEP Defeats North Texas 70-68 - Recap
UTEP grabbed a 70-68 win over North Texas on Saturday, behind a 22-point effort from Souley Boum at Don Haskins Center.
UTEP was a +4.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
UTEP got 17 points from Keonte Kennedy and another 11 points from Jamari Sibley. Jamal Bieniemy contributed 4 assists, while Jamal Bieniemy cleaned the glass with 5 rebounds.
North Texas got 20 points from Thomas Bell in a losing cause and another 15 points from Tylor Perry. JJ Murray contributed 3 assists for them, while Thomas Bell had 11 rebounds.
UTEP was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
