Point University Skyhawks vs Stetson Hatters Recap - Stetson Wins 77-65
Rob Perry scored 22 points leading Stetson to a 77-65 victory over Point University at Edmunds Center on Thursday.
Stetson got 15 points from Mahamadou Diawara and another 12 points from Chase Johnston. Stephan Swenson contributed 6 assists, while Mahamadou Diawara cleaned the glass with 17 rebounds.
Point University got a 28-point performance from Lorenzo Freeman Jr, who was supported by 12 points from Javier Turner. Tommy Carter had 4 assists in a losing cause for Point University, while Jake Smith grabbed 6 rebounds.
Stetson was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Stetson won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 42-27.
