Elon Falls 71-62 Against Delaware - Game Recap
Delaware grabbed a 71-62 win over Elon on Thursday, behind a 17-point effort from Jameer Nelson Jr. at Schar Center.
Delaware won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -4.0-point spread as favorites.
Delaware got 13 points from Ryan Allen and another 12 points from Kevin Anderson. Ryan Allen contributed 3 assists, while Jyare Davis cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Elon got 21 points from Darius Burford in a losing cause and another 16 points from Hunter McIntosh. Hunter McIntosh contributed 3 assists for them, while Michael Graham had 9 rebounds.
Delaware was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Elon won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-32.
