Saint Louis Defeats UMass 90-59 - Recap

The battle between Saint Louis and UMass didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as UMass was handed a 90-59 defeat on Sunday at Chaifetz Arena.

Saint Louis was a -9.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

Saint Louis got 31 points from Gibson Jimerson and another 17 points from Jordan Nesbitt. Yuri Collins contributed 12 assists, while Jordan Nesbitt cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

UMass got a 17-point performance from Trent Buttrick, who was supported by 14 points from Javohn Garcia. Noah Fernandes had 2 assists in a losing cause for UMass, while Trent Buttrick grabbed 5 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Saint Louis were victorious, as the score was $HalfScore at the break.

Saint Louis won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 52-30.

Next game, Saint Louis takes its act home to face George Washington looking for another win. For UMass, they head on the road to face La Salle.
