Recap - Rice Defeats Marshall 87-77

Marshall was burned for 30 points by Carl Pierre on Saturday as Rice picked up a 87-77 win at Henderson Center.

Rice won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +5.0-point spread as underdogs.

Travis Evee had 22 points for Rice and Max Fiedler chipped in with 11 points. Quincy Olivari had 6 assists for them, while Quincy Olivari was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.

Marshall got a 31-point performance from Taevion Kinsey, who was supported by 17 points from Obinna Anochili-Killen. Taevion Kinsey had 10 assists in a losing cause for Marshall, while Andrew Taylor grabbed 9 rebounds.
