Recap - Kennesaw State Defeats Stetson 77-49
The battle between Kennesaw State and Stetson didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Stetson was handed a 77-49 defeat on Saturday at Edmunds Center.
Kennesaw State got 13 points from Terrell Burden and another 13 points from Kasen Jennings. Terrell Burden contributed 8 assists, while Chris Youngblood cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Stetson got a 16-point performance from Chase Johnston, who was supported by 12 points from Christiaan Jones. Stephan Swenson had 6 assists in a losing cause for Stetson, while Christiaan Jones grabbed 11 rebounds.
Kennesaw State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Kennesaw State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-23.
Kennesaw State heads into a battle against North Florida. Stetson, meanwhile, will have their next action against Florida Gulf Coast.
