UAB got 20 points from Jordan Walker and another 12 points from KJ Buffen. Trey Jemison contributed 3 assists, while KJ Buffen cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Florida International got 17 points from Denver Jones in a losing cause and another 17 points from Tevin Brewer. Tevin Brewer contributed 2 assists for them, while Dante Wilcox had 7 rebounds.
