Marshall Defeats Duquesne 72-71 - Recap

Marshall grabbed a 72-71 win over Duquesne on Saturday, behind a 21-point effort from Taevion Kinsey at Henderson Center.

Marshall won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -8.0-point spread.

Marshall got 13 points from Obinna Anochili-Killen and another 13 points from Andrew Taylor. Taevion Kinsey contributed 6 assists, while Darius George cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.

Duquesne got a 23-point performance from Amir Spears, who was supported by 14 points from Tre Williams. Amir Spears had 4 assists in a losing cause for Duquesne, while Leon Ayers III grabbed 8 rebounds.
